In General we are a retail-only nursery that offers an extensive assortment of quality plant material at reasonable prices to all customers. We do not offer special discounts to landscapers, nor do we offer volume discounts. In many cases (especially with our Plant Farm-grown products), our prices are comparable to those of local wholesalers, as is evidenced by the fact that we do sell a lot of plants to area landscapers.

Because we are a destination nursery, we currently do not have a mail order service, nor do we have a shopping cart on our web site. We like our customers to come in and see our beautiful plants in person before making their selection.

Information Desk: Getting settled into our new Retail Greenhouse , The Plant Farm's Information Desk provides customers with plant information, resource materials, and a friendly Plant Doctor.

Delivery: We deliver throughout the Puget Sound Basin now on Mondays. Our base delivery charge is $55.00, please call for rates for deliveries to your area. Rates are based on distance, whether you have one plant or a 100 plants.

Our Plant Guarantee:

• Your newly purchased plants are guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase.*
• All returns must be accompanied by the sales receipt and the plant.
• Always call us prior to digging up questionable plants for returns.

  * We are unable to guarantee annuals & vegetables, or guarantee against winter kill, neglect or abuse.

Provided your plant receives reasonable care but fails to survive the 90 days,
The Plant Farm at Smokey Point will issue a one-time replacement or credit of
the plant’s like value at time of purchase.

If for any reason your plant appears to be showing signs of stress within the 90-day period, call us immediately. We are very happy to answer questions you may have, and more often than not we are able to troubleshoot over the phone.

We are committed to providing you with the information necessary to have a successful garden. Please ask our sales associates about your selections to determine if they are appropriate for the intended site, and what their hardiness is.

Garden Design: We are happy to help you design your garden, making suggestions for plant placement & layout, tailoring it to your requirements. Please consider the following before asking for this service:

• We do not make formal appointments, so please come in during a slower period, not during sunny weekend days, as we share time between multiple customers.
• Please bring a rough sketch of your garden including, dimensions and printed photos so we can see what we're working with. Also, note buildings, fences, sun exposure and other features that may have an impact (utility covers, for instance).
• Plan to spend some time with us, so we can work with you to make your garden design a success!
• TIP: While at the nursery, use some of our spaces in the sales yard to lay out your plants. That way, you can better visualize your design.
• TIP: Want to fill a planter with fabulous plants or create your own hanging basket? To make sure you get home with everything you need grab one of our cardboard plant boxes and consider that your temporary “planting pot.” Arrange your plant and flower choices in the box visualizing them in your container at home. It will help you create in reality what you see in your mind and you won’t get home with to many or to few plants for your creation!
